SIR - May I, through your columns, thank the people of Hitchin who so generously contributed to our collection day in the town centre last Saturday (July 26).
As a result of their generosity the total collected equated to the cost of much-needed physiotherapy for our members for two weeks.
It is important for people to know that their donations go directly to where they are most wanted, and not lost somewhere in administration.
To everyone who gave, once again, thanks.
