The tone of the recent letters about the alleged misuse of Rectory Lane by cut through motorists reveals a certain exasperation.
Could I add to the controversy by suggesting that an effective first step in resolving this problem would be to strictly enforce the existing 20mph speed limit. The threat of speeding penalties would reduce the volume of traffic overnight.
