Like most people I have become a keen recycler as requested by our councils. However, I am finding that a trip to my local refuse centre at Black Horse Road, Letchworth is becoming more time consuming than ever before.
Aside from the time I spend sorting my rubbish into some form of order I now find myself facing queues of up to 30 minutes to actually get into the site.
If North Herts District Council wants people to recycle then they really do need to give people an efficient facility to do so.
Sadly a trip to the dump now rings alarm bells in my head because I never know how long it is going to take me. If the site was expanded or the traffic system employed there was changed, I am sure the queues could be reduced.
