On Sunday I needed to post an urgent letter in the 1pm collection at the new box outside the old post office in Letchworth, you know, the main office that has closed and is an inconvenience to us all. The disc at the top of the box stated Monday, strange it was only 12.25pm. So off I drove to the sorting office (using extra carbons) and found that it is a noon collection!
Oh yes, the postal rates are going up soon as well. No, I am not really a grumpy old man!
