THE Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Knebworth and we’ve got three pairs of tickets to be won in our easy to enter competition.

Following the recent release of their tenth studio album I’m With You earlier this year and a sold out UK arena tour, Kilimanjaro Live is proud to announce that Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to Britain in June to perform two massive open-air shows – their only UK dates of 2012. Red Hot Chili Peppers will take to the stage at Knebworth Park on Saturday 23rd June and Stadium of Light, Sunderland on Sunday 24th June 2012.

Back in 2005, the band’s three-night headlining stint at London’s famous Hyde Park became the highest-grossing concerts at a single venue in history.

These shows were bookended by the release of 2002’s By The Way and 2006’s Stadium Arcadium, which found Red Hot Chili Peppers at the height of its fame in the UK. Their current album I’m With You debuted at #1 on the UK album chart and has been critically acclaimed by British media. When the band return to the UK this summer they will join a list of such luminaries as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Robbie Williams and Genesis as headliners of the iconic Knebworth Park.

Now confirmed to join Red Hot Chili Peppers, at the Knebworth Park date only, is Grime superstar Dizzee Rascal. Having taken the world by storm with smash hits such as ‘Bonkers’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Dance Wiv Me’ featuring UK producer Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal kept a relatively low profile in 2011, holing himself up in a studio in LA to write and record his highly-anticipated fifth studio album. The phenomenal success of Tongue N’ Cheek secured Dizzee’s position a the UK’s leading grime and urban artists and saw him pave a trail in the US for fellow Brit-rappers to follow. More support artists are to be announced in due course.
