Dads all over the region might be secretly hoping for something other than gardening tools for Father’s Day this year. Why not treat your dad to a great day out at the Knebworth Festival of Transport on Sunday, June 16.
The event combines a classic car show and a motorcycle show. The two arenas are set up in the park and surrounded by classic cars.
Knebworth regularly attracts hundreds of cars to this show, so there is plenty to see. Enthusiasts will delight in the concours competitions where each vehicle is lovingly presented at its absolute best by proud owners. Most exhibitors are very happy to chat to visitors about their vehicles. There are also trade stands and an autojumble to browse.
The show is a must for anyone with an interest in vehicles and transport. Our vintage bus will be on duty to transport you to and from the adventure playground.
There is something for all the family to enjoy during the day. Admission to the Festival of Transport is just £9 per person. Your ticket includes entry to the park and extensive adventure playground where children can let off steam and try the slides, play equipment and zip wire. There is plenty of space for picnics and of course parking is free of charge.
Although there is a small extra charge to view Knebworth House, your admission ticket also includes the lovely gardens at Knebworth with the dinosaur trail and maze.
