Heartless Royal Mail.
My daughter's 88-year-old grandfather sent her a birthday card which, upsetting for him, did not arrive on the due date.
After enquiries where made, a week later a card was put through her top floor flat informing her that there was an item to be collected at the main sorting office.
It was the missing card that was 5gm overweight. This cost my daughter £1.05 to get this card. This must have cost the Royal Mail Stevenage office, more for their time than just delivering the card.
What a waste of resources.
