SIR - Here we are in April, happy that spring is here and summer is just around the corner. It is still great to be alive in this green and pleasant land which is England.
So in line with the other countries of Great Britain as with Scotland, Ireland and Wales, we should be proud and celebrate this, our England, and it is so easy to do just that. Next Thursday, April 23 is St George's Day.
Wouldn't it be great to display our pride in all shops, offices, homes and indeed cars, by displaying or flying the cross of St George. Flying the flag is not only just for sporting events, well done to all who are patriotic.
