SIR - I just want to thank you and your readers for your amazing generous response regarding my daughter, Antonia and her caterpillar. I simply could not believe it when Rev Michael Roden rang to say you had received six of them.
My friend Andrea was in your area yesterday and kindly came to collect them. It is astonishing how many are still found in toy boxes, attics and at boot sales, despite not having been manufactured for fifteen years.
Anyway, it is such a relief now to have a stock of them in case Antonia is in breaking caterpillar move.
