Following the article on page 9 of this week's Comet January 25 entitled "Houses must be built somewhere".
I am just insulted at the NIMBY comment made at the end of this article. I call out for all The Comet council tax payers and registered voters to wake up and actively get involved in their local councils and really start to understand what it is that hard earned money is paying for. Right under our noses is real life and not on spoof reality programmes on TV. I applaud The Comet for printing the local people's issues, especially with regards to all the building works in Hitchin, and urge all its readers to be active in and aware of their surroundings.
