SIR - Sunday, May 21, saw the 32nd Walsworth Festival. I would like to thank the public who turned out to support the festival under such terrible weather conditions and to all the local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle.
I would like to express my extreme gratitude to the dedication and hard work of my very small committee in organising the festival.
The festival is for local charities to raise funds and their profile within the community. To enable it to continue we are in need of more committee members - if anyone is interested in joining us please contact the writer.
