SIR - I am shocked and disappointed at the council s proposal to change to having an allocation system. I was born and brought up in Stevenage, I work hard and pay my taxes, and I will no longer be eligible for accommodation should the proposals go ahead.
SIR - I am shocked and disappointed at the council's proposal to change to having an allocation system.
I was born and brought up in Stevenage, I work hard and pay my taxes, and I will no longer be eligible for accommodation should the proposals go ahead. Under the new proposals, I feel that I will have to be unemployed or homeless to qualify for housing.
As a 22 year-old male, I cannot see how I will ever be considered to have any great need for housing.
I feel that I need to raise the public's awareness of this which will hopefully force the council to reconsider.
