Those people who stay in every night watching soap operas should switch off and experience going out to our local theatres.

I went to see the show Seussical performed by the Hertfordshire Theatre School at the Queen Mother Theatre, it was the most enjoyable show I have ever seen. Each of the 32 members of the cast were superb and every song was catchy or moving. The whole evening was joyous, charming, sad, funny and uplifting.

It will be a crying shame if there are only three performances of this triumph and then it disappears for ever. It has to be seen by millions of people, not just a few hundred - many family and friends.

If someone had told me that I was watching an Andrew Lloyd Webber show, I would not have been surprised - it is that good. Sue Nash has a huge moneyspinner on her hands. Seussical is a sure-fire West End hit. She should take it there with this wonderful cast who all deserve to be national stars.
