SIR - It is remarkable that a representative of NHDC says they have not enough money to unblock drains which are flooding Hitchin shops.
I have owned and lived in the same Hitchin house since 1962 and they have enough money to send me a questionnaire three times which has 15 pages with 38 questions, one of which asks me whether I belong to white, black or black British, mixed, Asian, Chinese and other ethnic groups.
