This is about the Local Government election polling card.
I received my polling card in the post on Thursday, April 13, obviously while out at work. So I did not get to see it until I returned home in the evening. Due to the fact that I will be travelling abroad the week after next and will not be returning until after the polling day, I thought I would apply for a postal vote.
It just happens to be a long weekend, Easter weekend, and no one will be around to answer my call until Tuesday, April 18, which also happens to be the day that completed application forms for postal/proxy forms must be submitted.
That was well organised, don't you think?
