Featherstone Wood School and 2005/6 year six pupils must be congratulated on their fantastic SATs results for 2006 (The Comet - December 14). They have achieved the best results in Stevenage and seventh across North Herts and Mid Beds.
This is a school which parents and teachers had to fight to save just a few years ago. It is thanks to the determination of those who fought for it and the commitment of teachers and all other staff that has now turned this school into the success it is today.
Well done Featherstone, you deserve the success.
