SIR - The residents of York Road, Stevenage, have a problem - no buses. They run frequently along the top of Canterbury Way.
The buses were discontinued four years ago. I write from sheltered housing, many residents have to taxi from here on a limited income. We have had many promises of a review from the bus companies but we feel that we have been on the back burner for far too long. We have not had a legitimate excuse so far. If it is a definite no, we would like to hear it. We have been fobbed off for far too long. What use is a bus pass?
