SIR - In less than two weeks, on June 30th NHDC will consider plans to change Letchworth town centre permanently.
Everyone should be familiar with the plans and the degree of disruption involved including the loss of many early Garden City buildings and some of our town centre traders. Although it appears inevitable that they will pass the application, mainly to do with the planning procedures, it is not too late to inform them of your opinion, indeed it is important that you contribute to their decision. You can write to NHDC, your councillor and our MP. You , of course, also attend the planning meeting.
