The day before we went away, we popped into a discount store to buy a suitcase (not that we're disorganised or anything). I was horrified to discover, next to the aisle containing beach towels and luggage, there was a fairly sizable display of tinsel and other Christmas tat. This was early September. It's getting to the point where Christmas things are available so early in the year, it's barely worth putting the stuff away each summer. Maybe shops could just have regular 'Christmas corner' to save themselves the bother.
