I am writing in relation to your comment about Liquid/Envy nightclub in Stevenage. I was in the venue on Saturday night and I had a friend who was wearing improper footwear. The doormen were polite and helpful in explaining that if my friend went home and changed his shoes, we could come straight to the front of the queue. I felt that this was fair, I understand entirely about their dress code, and it is firm but fair.

Liquid/Envy is a brand new club and they want to keep it top quality. They do not need people who are dressed as if they are going to a local pub. If you want good service and an enjoyable night out then you have got to expect to have to put the effort in yourselves as well.

Overall, I think that Liquid/Envy is doing a wonderful job right from the door team, management and staff being helpful to the standards they maintain. A job well done!
