SIR – Regarding the Town Centre improvements in Stevenage, once again it appears to be the season for putting down paving in one place then digging it up somewhere else. Would someone from the council enter into print and explain exactly what the bright

SIR - Regarding the Town Centre improvements in Stevenage, once again it appears to be the season for putting down paving in one place then digging it up somewhere else.

Would someone from the council enter into print and explain exactly what the bright yellow canopy (I use the word loosely) by Primark is supposed to be, or for. It looks like a child's slide which has been erected wrongly, maybe it came from IKEA? More worrying, how much of our council tax did it cost?
