Regarding our useless PCSO's: May I take this opportunity to bring to the attention of the Stevenage council tax payers just how useless the Police Community Support Officers who regularly patrol our town centre, really are? Twice in recent weeks I have sat and watched them coming into a café. They come in groups of twos and threes and they sit there nonchalantly chatting and sipping tea for 20 minutes or more. During that time several speeding pavement cyclists have raced past right outside the window, in full view of everyone inside. Yet they do nothing about it! I then watch them leave, and I have observed them casually strolling away down Queensway as more pavement cyclists appear, and go past them.

They still continue to turn a blind eye to it! So what has happened to the safety of pedestrians? What about the elderly and the disabled who are being put at risk? If those employed to protect the public from anti-social behaviour cannot even be bothered to do anything about the hordes of idiotic pavement louts who constantly plague our town centre, then I think that at the very least, we are all entitled to a refund in our council tax.
