Stevenage's route to the Championship has been finalised.

Boro still have the League One play-offs firmly in their sights despite slipping out of the top six on Saturday with a 1-0 loss at home to Leyton Orient.

It has left them in a battle with four other teams for the fourth and final spot in the end of season showdown.

They do have a game in hand though and have the chance to secure sixth come the end of the season in their hands.

And now they know the route they will take and when, following an announcement from the EFL on the finalised details.

League One kick off the play-off action on Friday, May 3, at 8pm.

That could be the game Stevenage are involved in as it is sixth versus third.

The other two sides will play at 7.45pm one day later, the fifth-placed team at home.

The second legs will begin with the third placed side hosting sixth on Tuesday, May 7, at 8pm again.

The other game kicks off at the same time one day later, May 8.

The finals will take all place at Wembley Stadium across two weekends in May, with the League One showpiece on Saturday, May 18.

The League Two final will take place one day later on Sunday, May 19, with the Championship final one week later on Sunday, May 26.
