A whopping 157 drivers for Stagecoach East have bagged certificates applauding their exceptional standards and commitment to road safety.
The Fleet Elite certificates were issued by driver safety specialists, GreenRoad who monitor the performance of drivers across the Stagecoach East.
They then award the status to drivers who are and identify demonstrating sustained excellence, as shown by top-notch safety scores, mastery of driving and unwavering dedication to road safety.
The aim of the scheme is to inspire drivers to continue prioritising road safety and simultaneously serves as a badge of honour for their life-saving contributions.
57 local drivers have ascended to 'Master' fleet elite status by maintaining the pinnacle of safe and fuel-efficient driving for four straight years.
Meanwhile, 12 nabbed Gold status for their consistent high standards over three years, with 26 and 62 collecting Silver and Green statuses respectively.
Speaking on the achievement, Ross Barton, operations director of Stagecoach East, said: "Our drivers spend countless hours honing their skills to offer our customers the safe, comfortable and environmentally conscious ride that they should expect from us.
"So, it is a matter of huge pride that so many colleagues have now received official acknowledgement for their ability and dedication.
"The comfort and safety of our customers is our highest priority, so I am very proud that so many have received prestigious recognition for their abilities.
