Flooding has been reported across the county, according to Hertfordshire police, as motorists are advised to take extra care.

"Several" incidents have been taking place today (Saturday, March 2), with Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service confirming that they have attended a flood affecting three homes in Kings Langley.

Images of the Kings Langley flood have been released by the service.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "We have received several reports of flooding across the county.

"Motorists are advised to please take extra care on the roads and allow more time for journeys.

"Please do not attempt to drive through flood water. Thank you."

A statement released by Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service in Kings Langley added: "We are currently attending a flooding affecting three houses."

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for further comment, regarding the incident in Kings Langley this afternoon.

According to the Met Office, no further rain has been predicted for Hertfordshire today.
