A pub in Gosmore has gone up for sale after it closed earlier this year.

The Bull at Gosmore shut down in June, after the landlords admitted they were "fighting a losing battle with staffing, energy bills and rising prices", and the popular village spot has been closed ever since.

The building's owner has now put the pub up for sale, with estate agents Drake & Company listing the property at a guide price of £500,000.

"Our client is willing to consider rental offers in the region of £35,000 per annum," the listing adds.

"The Bull is a Grade II-listed brick-built semi-detached property under a pitched tiled roof.

"The ground floor features an open plan bar with open fireplaces and character features, a rear dining area with a vaulted ceiling and flagstone floor, trade kitchen, WCs, store room and a beer cellar.

"The first floor has two bedrooms, a lounge, store room and bathroom.

"Externally, there is a delightful patio garden to the rear and a covered parking area for a single car."

The Bull was a much-loved spot in Gosmore, earning a 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor with a 138 excellent reviews, and it also won the Muddy Stilettos award for the Best Destination Pub back in 2022.
