Legendary trumpeter Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen will make their second visit in 18 months to St Mary’s in Meppershall to help fund the restoration of its 800-year-old tower.

Chairman of The Friends of St Mary’s, Trevor Thorley, said last time the audience were in raptures – “he wanted to come back and the feeling was mutual”.

The hall will be transformed for the night to something “akin to a theatre”, he added.

For tickets at £15 and £20 call Trevor on 01462 813357 or email trevor.thorley1@btinternet.com
