Red Dwarf lands in Hitchin

Red Dwarf star and Radio 6 DJ Craig Charles will be in Hitchin tomorrow (Saturday) for an intimate funk party.

It might be cold outside but there should be some kind of atmosphere when he brings his beloved Funk n Soul show record collection to Chic Bar.

Charles, who also appeared as Lloyd in Coronation Street and presented Robot Wars, said he is very much looking forward to the night, “even more so for a special intimate gig – so sunglasses on and let’s raise the roof!”

Support is from Shake Your Hips head honcho DJ Roch adding a mix of jazz, rare grooves, Latin and boogaloo to the funky set.

Tickets at £10 are available from Chic and Jolly Browns in Hitchin and David’s Music Shop in Letchworth GC.
