Letchworth poet launches collection

A POET is launching his latest collection of work on Thursday.
John Gohorry will be performing a selection of poems from On the Blue Cliff at The Settlement in Nevells Road, Letchworth GC, from 7.30pm.
The Letchworth GC resident has had poems printed in The Times Literary Supplement, The Observer and the Daily Express, and his latest work explores the landscape and situations of the Blue Cliff Record, a 12th century collection of Zen Buddhist koans.
“It’s been a terrific adventure and now the book’s out it’s great to have other people on board to enjoy it as well,” said John, a member of North Herts group Poetry ID who are hosting the evening.
Admission to the event costs £3 on the door.
