Motor along to Knebworth Park for classic car show this weekend

Motoring history will be brought to life at Knebworth House this weekend with hundreds of classic cars and vintage vehicles on show.
The 28th annual Classic Motor Show at Knebworth House will be hosted over the bank holiday weekend on Sunday, August 26 and Monday, August 27.
Running from 10am to 5pm both days, last admission is at 4pm when the motoring activities will start to wind down.
The annual event will feature a wide selection of intriguing stands from local main dealerships, and each day up to 1,000 classic and collectable vehicles will be taking part in a fantastic array of static displays.
The family day out also includes the Archant-backed Hertfordshire Motor Show.
The live action in the show arena will include stunning parades of saloons, sports cars, American muscle cars, commercial vehicles, military machines and classic motorcycles.
A team of judges will be in attendance to select the concours winners with an award ceremony taking place in the arena at 4pm.
The arena will also feature the now famous ‘Decibel Duel’, where owners compete to find the loudest car of the show.
It will be a great day out for the whole family as included in the price of Park & Gardens admission are the Classic Motor Show event, the Garden Sculpture Exhibition, the Adventure Playground with Fort Knebworth, the maze, the 250-acre Park, 28-acres of formal gardens and the trail of 72 life-sized prehistoric creatures.
Tickets booked online before the day of the event qualify for a 10 per cent discount off the full price of £9.50 for ages three and above, or £34 for a family ticket/group of four.
Tickets at full price will be available at the gate on the day.
Knebworth Park & Gardens entry is free for season ticket holders and children under three.
House tickets can be purchased at a supplement of £3.50 for adults, and £3 for senior citizens / children.
The Classic Motor Show is the final event included with Park & Gardens admission for 2018.
Daily and early opening ends August 30, and will go back to weekends only from 11am, rather than 10.30am, until September 30.
However, Knebworth will have a number of exciting out-of-season events between now and the end of the year.
