Darren Sarll steps up from head of youth to take new role

Darren Sarll has been promoted to first team coach at Stevenage.

Sarll had been the club’s head of youth since June 2012, overseeing the club’s youth setup and helping the likes of Ben Kennedy and Ryan Johnson to progress to the first team in recent seasons.

Sarll’s appointment comes just days after the club announced Kevin Watson as assistant manager to new boss Teddy Sheringham.
