Boro set their sights on midfielder about to be shown the door by Brentford
Stevenage are interested in signing Marcus Bean, the current Brentford midfielder who will be available on a free transfer this summer.
A former QPR and Blackpool player, Bean has been told he will not be offered a new contract when his current deal expires at the end of June.
Hammersmith-born Bean, 27, told the press in March that he wanted to stay with the Bees but will now be shown the door after three years at the club.
