Canaries secure two more of last season’s squad on deals ahead of new season

Two players have put pen to paper on new contracts with Hitchin Town.

Sam Barker, the central midfielder, and Kane Smith, the bright young defensive prospect, have both remained at the club for the upcoming Southern Premier season.

Tahj Bell, the goalkeeper, has left the club after two seasons, while Brett Donnelly has picked up an injury in pre-season and faces a spell out of the game.

Hitchin host Hemel Hempstead Town this evening (Monday) in the first round of the Herts Charity Cup.
