Hitchin Town sign highly-rated starlet striker Desejado Da Silva

Hitchin Town Football Club have signed highly-rated youth team striker Desejado Da Silva on first team registration forms.

Desejado known to all as Dessie has impressed Canaries boss Mark Burke during the youth team’s run in this year’s FA Youth Cup.

Dessie grabbed a treble against Hoddesdon and a further two goals against Dagenham at Top Field on Thursday evening as the youth team lost an incredible match 6-4 in the first round proper.

Dessie is part of the college scheme operating at the Baldock Arena having previously been with the QPR Foundation scheme.

Right-footed starlet Dessie was born in Guinea-Bissau but has Portuguese nationality and played for Real Sport Club from the greater Lisbon area that that play in LigaPro.
