Hitchin Town manager Carl Williams has brought in two new players ahead of the Canaries’ next game against St Albans City this Saturday (January 12).

In comes Michael Noone, a right-sided midfielder who can also play in defence. His former teams include Eastbourne Borough, Dover Athletics and Wealdstone.

Also coming in is Jake Woolley, a 19-year-old from Luton Town. Woolley was on the bench as Luton beat Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Saturday and he signed a new two-year deal with the Hatters in the summer.

Speaking about his new signings, Williams said: “Michael has played at a very high level and his experience will certainly help us.

“Jake is a player who has a lot of promise and I am looking forward to seeing him in action.”
