Canaries make double swoop as they look to seal title win

Hitchin Town have signed two new players.

Jack Nelly, formerly with Arlesey Town, has signed a permanent deal while Luton Town teenager Jordan Patrick has arrived on loan.

Nelly has been sidelined since breaking his ankle early last season, but has returned to fitness with the Canaries and played for the reserves earlier this week.

Manager Carl Williams is pleased by Nelly’s signing, saying: “He has looked sharp in training and had an excellent run-out against Harrow. He can do a very good job for us.”

Patrick, a striker, became Luton Town’s youngest ever player when he made his debut at the age of 16 years and seven days and he is still only 18 years of age.

Williams has also agreed a new contract with midfielder Louis Lee, who has committed himself to the club until the end of next season.

“Louis is one of the players we want to keep and build our team around for the next few seasons. He has a great attitude and his performances have just got better and better,” said Williams.
