Hitchin table tennis starlet Isabelle Lacorte represented England at the Euro Mini Championships in France.

The event in Schiltighiem attracts some of the top players each year in the 12 and 13-year-old age group and Lacorte impressed.

The 11-year-old beat Elena Dorn, from the host nation, 11-9, 11-7, 6-11, 11-6 in her opening match, but defeats against opponents from Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia and France meant she had to settle for a place in the consolation event.

Lacorte was unable to get out of her qualifying group, but ended the tournament on a high note with a 3-0 win (11-4, 11-6, 11-2) over Susana Costa of Portugal.
