Stevenage’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Mansfield Town this Saturday has been postponed.

Following a pitch inspection at the Lamex on Friday, the surface was deemed frozen while the safety of supporters was also a concern with weather conditions expected to worsen this evening.

Information on the re-scheduled fixture will be released in due course.

Boro were hoping to return to winning ways by defeating the Stags in David Flitcroft’s first game as manager after his appointment earlier this week.

Darren Sarll’s side return to league action next weekend when Crewe Alexandra travel to the Lamex.

Hitchin Town’s game against Hereford FC at Top Field in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division has also been postponed with a re-scheduled date being discussed.

The Canaries travel to Chesham United next Saturday, with Mark Burke’s side looking to end the season strongly and achieve a top 10 finish.
