STEVENAGE

DIENG 7 Assisted fourth goal, did well not to get caught out by Blair cross and made a good save to deny his free-kick, other than that had very little to do.

VANCOOTEN 7.5 Looked dangerous going forward, crossing caused problems, great burst of pace and made a brilliant last man tackle to deny Biabi in first-half.

WILKINSON 7 No nonsense defending, isolated Biabi, instructed his defence well

NUGENT 7 Wasn’t put under a lot of pressure, unforced slack passing

TIMLIN 7 Great burst of pace to draw foul for second penalty, some unforced errors, linked well with Campbell-Ryce

IONOTTON 7 Worked well with Ferry, got stuck in

FERRY 7.5 Vocal, assured, missed good early chance, controlled midfield early on, up for a scrap, worked tirelessly

KENNEDY 8 Sharp trying to get in-between the lines, outlet for boro, handful, cool penalty, brilliant second, confident display

CAMPBELL-RYCE 7 Lost possession a few times, attacked well on-on-one, grew into game

GEORGIOU 7 Sharp closing down won him the penalty, weak finishing when he got a sight of goal

NEWTON 7 Didn’t stop running, linked well with wide men, handful for both centre-backs but didn’t get many sightings of goal

SUBSTITUTES:

MAKOMA 7 (on for Ferry) Slotted in nicely in the midfield and picked up where Ferry left off.

GUTHRIE 8 (on for Newton) Scored second penalty just out of reach of Benda, second produced a very neat finish and final goal was a delightful composed chip. Superb performance having come on in the second-half.

SONUPE 7 (on for Kennedy) Showed pace in attack and was good on the ball. His last minute free-kick almost caught out Gould at his near post
