Codicote have snapped up a former favourite after a few years away as they bid to climb away from the bottom end of Spartan South Midlands League Division One.

Ben L’Honore played for the Cod back in 2015 and since then he has had spells at Stotfold and Welwyn Garden City, whom he joined last summer.

However, the move to Herns Lane didn’t work out and he has been playing most recently at Langford.

But now he has arrived back at the John Clements Memorial Ground as manager Finlay Johnson looks to strengthen his side further.

The new boss has already brought Kieran Asumadu-Sakyi in from Hoddesdon Town and full-back George Robinson from Northwood as well as the experienced Ben Andreos who will double up playing with time as a coach.

Cod’s game on Saturday at home to league leaders Southall was a victim of the wet weather.
