Dino Maamria’s Stevenage beat Carlisle United 1-0 at Brunton Park on Saturday.

A 56th minute winner from talented North Ireland starlet Ben Kennedy pushed Stevenage up to the heady heights of fourth place in the League Two table.

Dino Maamria’s battling Boro showed grit and resolve to come away from Cumbria with three points at the start of a tough week.

The victory means three wins in the last five as in-form Stevenage displayed character to win.
