There has been a pitch inspection scheduled before Biggleswade Town’s match against Hereford FC on Tuesday night,

There will be a pitch inspection before Biggleswade Town’s Evo-Stik Southern Premier leauge game against sleeping giants Hereford FC on Tuesday night.

The pitch inspection will go ahead at lunchtime at Langford Road, after the Waders’ last game against Slough was also postponed on Saturday afternoon.

Biggleswade Town’s twitter feed read: ‘Unfortunately match officials have deemed out pitch un-playable despite our best efforts.’

With the BBC forecasting light showers on Tuesday morning, fans will be hoping the pitch has recovered over the last three days.

If it goes ahead 13th placed underdogs Biggleswade will be looking to defeat the giants of Hereford, who go into the game 3rd and 19 points ahead of the Waders. Biggleswade Town beat Hitchin Town 1-0 in their last game while Hereford won 1-0 over Dorchester Town on Saturday,

Biggleswade will have to wait until Saturday against leauge leaders Kettering for their next game if the officals deep Langford Road un-playble.
