Zema and Nathan Abbey have taken charge of the Blues after leaving St Neots Town in October

Arlesey Town have appointed Zema and Nathan Abbey as joint managers of the club.

Zema Abbey was previously the club’s manager and Nathan its goalkeeper before the siblings became the new management team at St Neots Town in November 2013.

But having left Arlesey’s Southern Premier rivals in October last year, the duo have returned to mid Beds as joint managers.

A club statement said: “The committee of Arlesey Town FC are happy to announce the appointment of Zema and Nathan Abbey as joint managers of Arlesey Town FC.

“Both have had successful footballing careers as well as success in previous management of the club. We welcome them back and wish them every success.

“They will be joined by Richard King as assistant manager and Matt Endersby as coach.”
