Stevenage dominate at Hertfordshire Championships

Stevenage Sports Acrobatics Club (SSAC) dominated the Hertfordshire Championships by winning the floor and tumble team trophies for the second year running and returning with 47 medals.

Floor results: Prep A women’s pairs: Gemma Randall and Morgan-Grace Pugh, gold; Prep A mixed pairs: Aindriu Captain and Alex Ward, silver; Prep B women’s pairs: Charlotte Wilson and Olivia Lindsay, silver; Novice group: Maddie Ryan, Amy Faulkner and Jenna Edwards, gold; Grade One women’s pairs: Bessie and Lily Holloway, gold; Grade One: Abi Birks, Bethany Vaughan and Danielle Heron, bronze; Annalisa Girgenti, Sophie Welham and Shayle Charlton, silver; Grade Two Women’s pairs: Caoimhe Captain and Nyree Barnes, silver; Daniela Girgenti and Megan Richardson, bronze; Grade Two trio: Daniela Girgenti, Jenna Grieves and Nyree Barnes, silver; Caoimhe Captain, Danielle Ally and Heather MacInnes, gold; Grade Three women’s pairs: Danielle Scott and Kiera Brunton, gold; Grade Four women’s groups: Katie Bullock, Rachel Chander and Elle McGregor, gold.

Caoimhe Captain, Danielle Ally and Heather MacInnes received a trophy for the highest trio score of the day and Nia Barnes won one for the highest tumbling score.
