Stevenage captain, Ronnie Henry, has signed a one year contract extension it has been announced.

Stevenage fell to a disappointing 3-1 defeat against Coventry in Sky Bet League Two on Friday night.

The sixth annual Mitchell Cole Memorial tournament – organised by Stevenage Supporters Association FC – is set to take place on Saturday, May 12 at the Armadillo Stadium, home of Arlesey Town.

Stevenage’s England U19 starlet Ben Wilmot has added a few more quid to his value after being awarded the EFL’s prestigious League Two Apprentice of the Year.

Stevenage’s 2-0 home defeat by Cambridge United left many fans disappointed, given the good form the team had shown in four unbeaten matches prior to Saturday. But no-one was more hurt than Boro boss Dino Maamria at the performance.

Hitchin Town lost 1-0 at home to Slough Town at Top Field on Monday evening.

With Monday’s eagerly-awaited home match with Hereford FC postponed due to the rain Mark Burke’s team remain in tenth place in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League after beating Frome Town 5-1 in front of 317 fans at Top Field at the weekend.
