Vic White, who lives in the area, said Kingfisher Road in Shefford has been targeted by vandals over the past few weeks, with fences ripped up and flower pots smashed.

Sergeant Gary Kidd, of the Local Policing Team in Shefford, said: “In recent weeks we have been informed of a number of low level instances of anti-social behaviour in and around Kingfisher Road in Shefford, which are being addressed by the Local Policing Team.

“Thankfully the damage caused has been mainly superficial, but officers from the Local Policing Team are working with the community to identify the culprits and prevent any further attacks from taking place.

“I would urge anyone who may have any information about these attacks, or spots any offence being committed, to contact Bedfordshire Police on the non-emergency 101 number so that we can take the appropriate action.”
