Traffic is building up on the A1(M) at Stevenage this evening after a car hit the central reservation.

Police were called at 4.58pm to reports that a silver Vaxhall Corsa was half in the central reservation and half in the offside lane, 100 yards from the Knebworth junction (Junction 7). Cars were swerving to avoid it.

Police are currently at the scene while the incident is cleared.
