Thursday club boy racers return to plague Stevenage

Police were called to a major dual carriageway last night as cars, motorbikes and quadbikes turned it into a racetrack.
Herts Police said there were reports between 10.30pm and 10.45pm of twelve vehicles travelling at excessive speeds along Gunnels Wood Road.
The vehicles had gone by the time officers had arrived.
The racing is a repeat of last Thursday’s events, and a problem that plagued the carriageway last summer.
A police spokesman said they are monitoring the issue and working alongside Stevenage Borough Council to prevent and prosecute racers.
