Police are investigating after a man was attacked outside a Stevenage Tesco store on Sunday

A man who was sleeping outside Stevenage’s Tesco Extra store was attacked on Sunday night.

Police were called to the store in the town centre at around 11.40pm, after the man was hit on the head multiple times.

The victim went to the entrance of the store to get help, and staff called for an ambulance.
