THE first entries for a calendar competition have been sent in.

The Comet launched a competition with the Herts Women’s Centre last week, inviting readers to send in photos which celebrate women.

In total 12 images representing different categories will be chosen by a judging panel and featured in a 2013 calendar for the centre, which offers support and advice to women in the county from its Stevenage base.

Readers have until August 31 to send in entries via www.iwitness24.co.uk - click on the link at the top right of the page to enter or view submitted photos.
